It is my opinion that this gun has been shortened to the 16" trapper length. It is hard to tell. Bbl and tube retain much of the blue finish with good markings. Takedown ring has turned the typical silver color. Receiver is mostly a gray color with slight traces of blue in some of the protected areas. You don't see a lot of SRC's in This particuler gun is in well used condition but it looks like the user took care of it.

Receiver has silvered out. Quite a bit of wear to the finish on the mag tube. Bore is fair with some roughness. Butt stock has numerous dings and scratches but fits nice to both upper and lower tang. Forearm has seen quite a bit of use and was evidently a scabbord gun.

Dings and a slight piece missing by the bbl band but is solid. A decent old gun! Equipped with half oct half round bbl, button mag and in cal 30 WCF.

A decent looking gun with aging to the metal finish. Gives it a nice antique look. Equipped with a tang sight and a Sheard front sight along with orig rear bbl sight. Bore is VG with light roughness. Wood is also in pretty good shape. You can see where someone has done some sanding and there has been a coat of oil added.

The forearm has some handling marks and is a bit shy at the forearm cap. Still a decent old Winchester. This trapper is equipped with the factory 15" bbl in 30 cal. It has been used as a tool and looks it although it does look better than most trappers that you see. Receiver is a grey color. Bbl has quite a bit of blue.

More wear towards the muzzle on both bbl and mag tube. A couple of dings in the mag tube. Has orig carbine sights. Wood is actually not that bad. A little undersized at the buttplate. Fit is fair at both tangs. A bit of wood missing on the top right.

Normal dings and scratches but is not broken. Forearm wood is quite good with no missing wood. Decent trapper with ATF clearence papers. Includes standard carbine sights and correct saddle ring. Bright bore with visible rifling. Bbl and mag tube are faded with some spotting and traces of blue in protected areas. Receiver is mostly gray. Wood shows it's age with numerous dings and dents. Forearm is cracked in front of frame on the left and both sides and bottom in front of bbl band.

Comes with BATF clearence papers verifying the antique status. Full oct bbl and full length mag tube. Correct front sight and 3-leaf carbine style rear sight with the usual missing center leaf.

Wood is VG cond with a few mars and dings. Receiver is clean and smooth with a pleasing plum brown patina. Gun is generally better than average condition for a short rifle. Not a bad specimen. Original 16 inch octagon barrel with full length mag tube chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Crescent style butt plate. Rifle has the correct short forearm for a barrel of this length.

Barrel has thinning original blue with wear to the edges of the octagons and light oxidation with several chatter marks on the left side of the barrel. Possibly from bouncing around or against something. Bore is a little rough, but may clean up a bit. Original sights include a screw in blade front and a ladder rear. Wood is good fitting and proud to the metal with the usual dings and handling mars you would expect to see on a handy little gun from Bbl retains quite a bit of blue and has some wrench marks at the rear sight area.

Mag tube has faded and has a brown color as does the action. Wood has definitely seen some heavy use and has had a coat of something applied over numerous dings and mars. Typical sporting sights and a good action. Bore is good to VG. Orig sights which include flip up ladder rear sight and blade front sight. Wood is overall good with the usual handling mars and dents. Nice little SRC. Lyman front and No. All features verified by Factory Letter of Authenticity. Sights include Winchester sporting rear sight and a folding tang sight.

Overall metal retains much of the original blue finish. Lever and hammer have traces of case color. Bore has strong rifling with some roughness throughout. Wood is in good condition and fits well. Not sure of the purpose. This takedown comes with an authentic elk or deer hide case. Nice outfit to show off at deer camp. Wood is in overall good condition with usual scratches and dents. VG bright shiny bore with good rifling. Winchester was a frugal manufacturer and never threw away parts. When the Model 95 was discontinued, surplus bbls were shortened from the breech end and re-chambered for 30 WCF cartridges. They were then used on the model Another distinctive feature is the bbl band dovetailed into the bottom of the bbl. This gun is in very good condition. Some wear at the muzzle.

Receiver has flaked and retains some blue in protected areas. Overall wood is good with just minor handling dents. Also comes with a Factory Letter that simply gives serial number application date. A rare unique gun!

This one actually has a pretty good bore being bright and shiny. Some light pitting and roughness but has good rifling. A lot of good blue on bbl and mag tube with some rough spots and a few scratches.

Wood is nice fitting on both stock and forearm. A few dings and scratches but no cracks or losses. The wood is quite heavily oil stained. Pretty nice gun overal! A well used gun that still has some apeal to it. There is some faded blue on the bbl. There are spots that look like they may have been cleaned and cold blue applied.

It is equipped with the popular crescent buttplate. This would be a good vintage hunting firearm.
