Cz 527 carbine synthetic stock

So I bought a brand new CZ Carbine 7. I've had it three months and have only fired around rounds I was so disappointed and went in and checked to see if the screw by the magwell was too tight or too loose.

I glued the stock back together with some wood glue last night and clamped it together to let dry. I reassembled this morning making sure the screws were not over-tightened or too loose and took it out to the range.

The split held together just fine through 40 rounds, but upon packing the rifle back up for the night, I noticed ANOTHER chunk of wood had flown off right behind the bolt in an entire different spot than the split occurred!!!

What is the deal with the wood on this?

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? CZ has always been my 1 manufacturer.

This really is making it difficult for me to not have a change of heart. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, a gun's only enemies are Obama and rust.

They may send you a new stock. I emailed them right after the split occurred.

They should be getting back with me tomorrow. I read that there is a 1 year warranty on the wood, but I just don't see how the new stock would be any different.

The wood is clearly horrible quality. If they send me a new wood stock I think I'd like to just keep it stored and in good condition. Maybe pick up a synthetic stock for shooting. CZ Fanbot since I called all day starting this morning and never could get through to the parts department.

They must be very busy. Even left a message and have yet to get a call back. I did get through to the warranty department but he said he couldn't help me unless I was sending the gun in for him to replace the stock instead of doing it myself.

He says they get 's in constantly with the exact cracks and missing chunks as mine and that he always beds the recoil lug when doing a stock replacement. Had same gun since the late 90's when they 1st came out and never a prob with the wood! Long story very short the in both calibers has probs with certain ammo types where firing pin doesn't hit primer hard enough and CZ has never been able to fix, this has been an issue since they 1st came out!

Mine has issues with duds in a 10 round mag with Chinese ammo only, all other types go bang 1st time, several threads about this issue on here and other places going back yrs!
